A family home renovated by a carpenter
At the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, a short walk from the centre of Lège, the house welcomes families and groups of friends in 150 m² of bright single-storey living. The 800 m² enclosed garden surrounds the pool and its outdoor shower: back from the beach, rinse off under hot water from its own water heater, then dive in. The pool is heated, depending on the weather and outdoor temperature.
Right behind the outdoor shower, an outdoor toilet means no walking through the house in a wet swimsuit. Along the covered terrace, a proper boules court awaits your evening games of pétanque. Children also love the ping-pong table and the football goal.
The house has smart home controls: heating adjusts automatically to 18 °C at night and 21–22 °C during the day. In summer it stays naturally cool and needs no air conditioning. In winter, firewood is provided for the living-room fireplace.
The whole renovation was done by hand, using bio-based materials.
